It has mythical creatures to things you can find everyday in your own home. Animals can even be hunted for food or game.

۞ The list will contain how common they are and how strong/hostile they are as well as their rarity.</blockquote>

<blockquote>۞ Ever After Village:

Most of the animals found here are normal. They're commonplace and for the most part not very strong or hostile.

<blockquote><table style="width: 900px" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td colspan="2">۞ Cats:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Cat, it's a kitty-cat. They can be found mewling in the alleyways at night or sunbathing on the rooftops. Be careful about carrying fish from the marketplace, they may follow you. Although, some have been said to play the fiddle and another to wear boots.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Dogs:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Man's best friend. There can be strays found begging for scraps or dogs let loose by their owners to just roam around. Be sure to check for a collar and beware the ones with rabies.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Livestock:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Cows, Horses, Chickens, Pigs, Turkeys, Goats, Sheep, Rabbits, Ducks, Geese. They all serve their purpose on the farms to provide milks, cheeses, eggs, and meat as well as wool and down feathers. Although, one farmer once claimed his cow lept over the moon.</td></tr>

<blockquote>۞ Black Rosewood Forest:

Animals in the Black Rosewood Forest have the most variety. There is the highest concentration of magical creatures in the forest as well. Animals range from a simple mouse to something much deadlier.

<blockquote><table style="width: 900px" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td colspan="2">۞ Bears:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Be beary wary of the beary scary bear. Bears are the apex predator of the forest as far as the common animals are concerned. There have been the occasional villagers turned into bears which makes them all the smarter and craftier.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Birds:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Hawks, Falcons, Owls, Bluejays, Cardinals, Sparrows and other wild birds of all sorts chirping, crowing, hooting at all intervals of the day or night. Without them, it would be a very quiet forest.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2"><blockquote>❧ Rarity: Commonplace-Less common
❧ Strength/Hostility: Weaker/Indifferent-Aggressive (Watch out for those bluejays)</blockquote></td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Deer:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Majestic creatures, but the males can be dangerous. Makes for good meat or trophies.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Dragons: </td></tr><tr><td width="100" style="vertical-align: middle"><a href="http://i45.tinypic.com/34pct1e.jpg"><img width="100" height="100" src="http://i45.tinypic.com/34pct1e.jpg" alt="" /></a><center>Click us we enlarge</center></td><td style="vertical-align: middle">While dragons can be found in the mountains as well, the winged dragons that inhabit the forest aren't much bigger than dogs and cats. They aren't like their smart and cunning mountain cousins, they are more animalistic, aggressive, and breathe fire balls. Be careful, they bite! Oh, and did we mention that all dragons are impervious to magic?</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Faerie Turtles: </td></tr><tr><td width="100" style="vertical-align: top"><a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/045cab6a.jpg"><img width="100" height="100" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/045cab6a.jpg" alt="" /></a></td><td style="vertical-align: middle">These turtles are special. They have plants and flowers growing from their shells. These turtles are able to grow the plants because of a spell by a faerie. It was said that a faerie had his wings ripped off and several turtles offered to help carry him back to the mound. As thanks, the faerie decorated their shells with plants and flowers. Faerie Turtles are protected by faeries so harming one is at your own risk.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Fish: </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2">Fish in the forest can mostly be found in Fae Lake and vary from little guppies to some large bass. There are also fish to be found in the streams.</td></tr>

❧ Strength/Hostility: Weak/Skittish</blockquote></td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Foxes:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Cunning and quick, these little creatures have a nasty habit of stealing a hunter's game even if that hunter is a bear. But their pelts are soft if you can catch them.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Giant Spiders: </td></tr><tr><td width="100" style="vertical-align: middle"><a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/a8fe6d18.jpg"><img width="100" height="100" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/a8fe6d18.jpg" alt="" /></a></td><td style="vertical-align: middle">Creepy crawly with eight legs as long as broomsticks. They're found mainly at night in the deepest part of the forest. They occasionally come towards the entrance if disoriented.</td></tr>

❧ Strength/Hostility: Strong/Predatory</blockquote></td></td>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Gryphons: </td></tr><tr><td width="100" style="vertical-align: middle"><a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/1b7a327b.jpg"><img width="100" height="100" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/1b7a327b.jpg" alt="" /></a></td><td style="vertical-align: middle">These majestic creatures are an eagle-lion hybrid that are said to act as the guardians of the forest. They often patrol the skies above the treetops to ensure that their territory is protected from all peril. While they can become aggressive when they feel like the delicate balance of the forest is threatened they also can be quite helpful to a traveler lost amidst the trees. They tend to eat fish and other game, however, they tend to avoid humanoids who come to hunt so all kills are safe from theft.</td></tr>

❧ Strength/Hostility: Strong/Haughty-Aggressive</blockquote></td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Rabbits/Hares:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Don't mind them, it's just bunnies. Little bunnies. Hop hop hop. They make good stews and furs.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Raccoons:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Cute and clever, a dangerous combination for the little thieves.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Rainbow Fish: </td></tr><tr><td width="100" style="vertical-align: middle"><a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/b87838fc.png"><img width="100" height="100" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/b87838fc.png" alt="" /></a></td><td style="vertical-align: middle">Do you have a wish you want to come true? Well, in Fae Lake are the magical Rainbow Fish. They are said to grant any wish within their power but they are protected by the faeries of the forest.</td></tr>

❧ Strength/Hostility: Weak/Timid</blockquote></td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Reptiles/ Amphibians: </td></tr><tr><td width="100" style="vertical-align: middle"><a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/0ea9ba5c.jpg"><img width="100" height="100" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/0ea9ba5c.jpg" alt="" /></a></td><td style="vertical-align: middle">Lizards, turtles, tortoises, toads, frogs, newts, and chameleons are common place in the forest. However, be careful some of those toads may be a prince.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Skunks:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> A creature who you don't want to end up on the wrong end of if you can help it. You're better off heading in the other direction as soon as you smell them.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Snakes:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> There are some snakes that are small and harmless and others that have deadly venom. The deadliest being a hooded cobra. </td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Unicorns: </td></tr><tr><td width="100" style="vertical-align: middle"><a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/6c3fbb41.jpg"><img width="100" height="100" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/6c3fbb41.jpg" alt="" /></a></td><td style="vertical-align: middle">Brilliant, grand, radiant, majestic horned beasts. Their horns are said to have magical properties and can only be approached by virgins. They are a symbol of purity. Some have tried to hunt this magical creature for its horn and blood.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Vermin:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> There are all sorts of rodents and bugs in the forest, of course. Who else will pick up all of the debris left behind by the other animals?</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Water Mammals:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Beavers, river otters, and muskrats. They are docile but adorable. And some have soft pelts.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Wild Boars:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Aggressive, dirty, smelly, and always sporting a bad temper. Wild Boars are known for charging even bears... only to regret it later. But those tusks are serious business. They're good for meat and strong hides.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Wild Horses:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> There aren't many of the wild horses, but there are a few that live in the forest. It is said the pack of horses are all from riders who met unfortunate fates. Some have been returned to the village and re-domesticated. </td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Wolves: </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2">Are you afraid of the big bad wolf? You should be. Well, for the most part. Leave them alone, and most likely they'll do the same. But anger one and you anger them all. With one particular catch. The most dangerous type of wolves are the Black Wolves. Black Wolves travel in massive packs and are known man-eaters.</td></tr>

The animals in the mountains aren't as varied as those in the forest, but where they lack variety, they make up in other ways.

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Birds:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, Owls, Bluejays, Cardinals, Sparrows and other wild birds of all sorts chirping, crowing, hooting at all intervals of the day or night.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Cougars:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> The cougars are not the top predator of the mountains but they are still deadly.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Dragons: </td></tr><tr><td width="100" style="vertical-align: top"><a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/c4e66410.jpg"><img width="100" height="100" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/c4e66410.jpg" alt="" /></a></a></td><td style="vertical-align: middle">Where their forest cousins are no bigger than dogs, the winged dragons in the mountains are massive. Even the smallest dragon is the size of a house. The biggest is said to be Aqil, bigger than even Rhapsody Palace. They are smart, cunning, and ruthless. They are fond of gold and have mountains of treasure to sleep on in their caves. They are able to set whole forests aflame and sometimes steal livestock from Ever After. However, because of the sheer vastness of the mountain range, finding them is next to impossible (which is impressive considering their size). They are impervious to magic but are thankfully fond of keeping to themselves.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Goats:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Mountain goats live on the sheer cliffs and are larger than domesticated goats. However, their meat and pelts are the same as their domesticated cousins. Be careful of their long horns, however.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Phoenix: </td></tr><tr><td width="100" style="vertical-align: top"><a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/6e4e070d.jpg"><img width="100" height="100" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/6e4e070d.jpg" alt="" /></a></a></td><td style="vertical-align: middle">There is only one phoenix in known existence. The great fire bird lives somewhere in the mountains and only appears in times of great strife. Her song is as beautiful as the siren's and her tears as powerful as the Lily of Fate. It is said the Lilies of Fate came to be because the Phoenix once cried in that area of the sea but no one is sure.</td></tr>

The Destiny Sea has the most fish and some other sea animals.  The concentration is so high it has been able to feed the entire village for centuries and still remains that way.

Dolphins are sure to follow the boats that go far out to sea. They have been known to play on the waves closer to the beaches but they usually stay pretty far out at sea.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Fish:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Fish can be seen even swimming near the docks. They vary from colorful little angel fish to massive sword fish and everything in between. The most common to be found is tuna and salmon.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Sea Lions:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Fond of the rocky coves and ridges, they're just your standard sea lion.</td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Sea Serpent: </td></tr><tr><td width="100" style="vertical-align: top"><a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/120be612.jpg"><img width="100" height="100" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/Animals/120be612.jpg" alt="" /></a></td><td style="vertical-align: middle">There is one known magical creature that lives near Ever After in the sea. The Sea Serpent that protects the Lily of Fate. Deadly and vicious, the lilies are it's only known food source and it's from these lilies that it remains immortal and able to live on for centuries. Little else is known of the creature.</td></tr>

❧ Strength/Hostility: Strong/Highly Aggressive</blockquote></td></tr>

<tr><td colspan="2">۞ Shellfish:</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> Lobsters, crabs, shrimp, muscles, clams, oysters, scallops. The vermin of the sea and they are delicious! They're plentiful and fished for the village to enjoy.</td></tr>

NPCs & Mythical Beings

<cut text="NPCs"><center>❧ Important Characters in Ever After ❧</center>

<blockquote><table width="900" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1" border="0"><tbody><tr><td> <center>۞ Queen Rhapsody: <img src="http://www.dreamwidth.org/userpic/4576671/1708340" alt="" /></center></td><td> Queen of Ever After, stopped all the travelers from being turned into slaves in the kingdom of Dark Thorn. She has a magical barrier up protecting her kingdom from the dark and evil forces of Queen Kerra’s kingdom. She is polite but distant. She’s busy, after all, with the affairs of her kingdom and trying to send all the travelers back home. She is concerned about everyone and getting them, if not out, at least on their feet. Her kingdom is flourishing and beautiful. It endeavors to live peacefully with the magical creatures of the forest if not try and stifle the mischief they induce. Rhapsody is unmarried and while many have tried for her hand, she has not found someone to rule beside her. Her beauty, it is said, comes from her great grandmother who won the heart of the prince of Ever After at a ball and they danced until midnight. The prince, so enamored, sought out Rhapsody’s grandmother to discover she was just a peasant girl. The prince married her anyways and we now have Queen Rhapsody.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Queen Kerra: <img src="http://www.dreamwidth.org/userpic/4576679/1708340" alt="" /></center></td><td> Queen of Dark Thorn. Her kingdom is one of torment and darkness where only hags and foul beasts live, tended to by the slaves she manages to attain. Her heart is as black and dry as the barren soil that troubles her land. She is the reason the travelers have arrived to Ever After. Unable to gain the amount of slaves she desires for her dark spells and witch-craft from the surrounding kingdoms, she used incredible magic and opened a portal to bring travelers from other worlds to Dark Thorn and enslave them. However, she was stopped by Rhapsody and endeavors to break the barrier and wreak havoc on the kingdom, gaining control of Ever After’s resources... and its people. No one knows much of the cruel Queen, only that she is reclusive, never leaving her castle of torture and darkness. What is known is that she is a distant relative to Rhapsody. Kerra’s grandmother was the step-sister to Rhapsody’s grandmother and the prince spited Kerra’s grandmother for Rhapsody’s grandmother. Kerra to this day claims that the kingdom of Ever After should be rightfully hers.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Mage of Mirrors Vincent: <img src="http://www.dreamwidth.org/userpic/4576682/1708340" alt="" /></center></td><td> The wise and gentle mage of Ever After is also the head of the Magic Guild and is the creator of the hand mirrors which people use to communicate and is also always looking for new magic to help the kingdom of Ever After. He has never been known to raise his voice, however, Vincent is not one for lies. In fact, he does not lie ever, be it about how fair someone may be or if someone has been deceived by a loved one. He believes in true honesty. He is difficult to get an audience with, as he is busy with the new arrivals and is one of the closest advisors to Queen Rhapsody.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Headmistress Siren: <img src="http://www.dreamwidth.org/userpic/4576674/1708340" alt="" /></center></td><td> The smartest person after Mage Vincent, maybe even smarter. She is the headmistress of the Rosewood University and the primary schools of Ever After. She is not a natural born citizen of Ever After but rather came from a kingdom well across the Destiny Sea into the oceans at a kingdom where mermaids are rumored to be as abundant as the seagulls. Some even like to joke that the quick-witted stern headmistress was once a mermaid herself although no one is quite sure how the rumor started about the little sharp-tongued headmistress. But don’t let her size fool you, her presence commands attention and she has control of even the most chaotic situations. Headmistress Siren endeavors to see all the travelers educated and made aware of the situation going on in Ever After.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ General Kamau: <img src="http://www.dreamwidth.org/userpic/4576684/1708340" alt="" /></center></td><td> The head of Queen Rhapsody’s army and a man who rather use strength and the will of his army over magic. While Kamau believes in magic, he cannot use it, nor does he want to do so. Kamau is an honorable man, a general who does not mince or waste words. He is not talkative, preferring actions over words and is known for his ferocity on the battlefield. He has many stories and rumors behind him regarding his deeds on and off the battlefield. The best known rumor of the General is that he once faced a man-eating wolf, slicing him clean down the belly after it had attacked a family. General Kamau is always looking for those to join the army, often butting heads with Officer Kai who has is cold and methodical to Kamau’s fiery will.</td></tr>

He is curt, cold, and so long as you are a law abiding citizen, he has no intention of ever speaking with you. He is the ice to Kamau’s fire. He has his eye on the law and that justice be dispensed properly. Another non-native to Ever After, he comes from high in the north. Kai wants little to do with the travelers and only just barely tolerates their presence. He is said to have a heart of ice as cold as the surface of a mirror. His heart was made so when he met the love of his life but she turned out to be an ice queen who betrayed him.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Head Healer Ayira: <img src="http://www.dreamwidth.org/userpic/4576675/1708340" alt="" /></center></td><td> Ayira is the head healer of Ever After. She is one of the more skilled magic users. Nurturing but strict, Ayira ensures that everyone is well taken care of and never asks for more than a person can give for her services. Ayira comes from a long line of magic users and witches. Her mother, a famous witch was known very well for her misuse of magic and even once turned a visiting prince into a frog. Ayira, because of her past, knows the most about what can be done to counter the misuses of magic by the witches and faeries and dwarves of Black Rosewood Forest.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Pirate Captain Venom: <img src="http://www.dreamwidth.org/userpic/4576676/1708340" alt="" /></center></td><td> A fearsome captain who sails the seas and oceans. She and her crew sometimes terrorize the Ever After Port but when they are feeling kind, they bring exotic (stolen) goods from other lands. Nothing is known of Venom only that she comes from a long line of pirates. It is said her ancestor sailed with one of the most famous pirate captains who had a hook for a hand. Venom seems to despise Queen Rhapsody but then again, she seems to despise everyone.</td></tr></tbody></table></blockquote></blockquote></cut>

In Ever After they can be found everywhere, the mountains, the sea, the forest, even sometimes in the village proper. Each mythical being is able to perform some magic... and they may be so inclined to perform that magic on your muse.</blockquote>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Faeries: <a href="http://i47.tinypic.com/288w9x4.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i47.tinypic.com/288w9x4.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> The faeries are the kindest of the four mythical beings that live in Ever After. They like to play games and are on the mischievous side but they mean no real harm. Faeries are no bigger than a fully bloomed rose. They come in all sorts of colors and they can speak, but they prefer to convey their wishes through actions and motions. Faeries like children and the sound of music. They can be drawn to both and if they feel an adult is being cruel to animals, children, or the faerie themselves, they will cast a spell on them in punishment. However, the faeries are also the most likely to also gift muses. Faeries come in two types. Winged faeries and non-winged faeries. Those without wings are called "elves." They are the same size and color but whereas winged faeries fly, elves are are able to become invisible. They can be found anywhere but the home of all faeries is the Faerie Kingdom which is underground and somewhere by Fae Lake. If a faeries feels threatened it will turn into a bird and fly off as quick as it can... but not before casting a curse or spell! Although, not all of the spells cast by a faerie are bad.</td></tr></tbody></table>

<blockquote>۞ Faeries can do the following magic on travelers:

<blockquote>۞ Animal Transformation Spell: The animals they choose are usually docile or creatures able to produce song. This spell lasts anywhere from three days to a week but wears off naturally.

۞ Sour Lemons: Did you refuse to share your food? Well, just for a little payback the faeries have cursed your muse so that all your food tastes sour. This only lasts for two days.

۞ Lose Your Way: While not exactly a spell they DO play tricks and this is a rather big one they like to pull on adults. Lost children or kind travelers are often guided away from danger.

۞ Truth Spell: Faeries hate lies and furthermore being lied to! Should your muse lie to a faerie, they will suddenly have a truth spell placed on them where they can ONLY speak the truth. This spell lasts anywhere from two days to five.

۞ Singing Curse: Faeries are musically inclined and enjoy the sound. If you should make fun of a faerie's music or just happen to be singing poorly, a faerie will curse you to sing everything. This spell lasts until someone sings along with the person who is cursed.

۞ Giggle Curse: A harmless curse, but an annoying one. If you lack a sense of humor a faerie will feel inclined to give you one. Everything and we do mean everything, will seem hilarious. Thankfully, the spell only lasts for two days.

۞ Sweeter than Honey Spell: Are you a bit of a jerk? Maybe you refused to do an act of kindness for the faeries! Well, they won't have that! You won't be for one whole week! That's right! You will be the sweetest person ever! Acts of kindness abound! You will feel such warmth in your heart even if other people call you the meanest names because you're just that kind of person.

۞ Spell of Youth: Faeries are more inclined towards children and are much like children themselves in some ways. So what do they do when an adult is acting too... well strict? Or perhaps they are being grumpy? Well, they cast the spell of youth. For one week a muse will be turned into a child from the ages of 5 to 10. They will be a child once more.</blockquote></blockquote>

The dwarves are master craftsman and miners. They can be found in the forest but they mostly live in the mountains. With a sturdy build they are strong warriors with the best armor and weapons in the whole kingdom. Dwarven weaponry cannot be broken by anything short of a dragon and the armor is stronger than any diamond. They guard and run the mine within the mountains and tend to keep to themselves and their own people. However, that is not to say it is impossible to speak to a dwarf. Quite the contrary. Dwarves frequent the town such as the taverns and pubs as well as the markets selling their very expensive but well worth it wares. Dwarves even occasionally attend the festival thrown in the village. Unlike faeries and witches, dwarves are neutral and actually have no spells to cast on travelers. They are fond of trade, though and are the most prone to do business with someone for their jewels or weaponry. Should you anger a dwarf, it is not magic you need fear, just an outright battle and they are excellent warriors.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Witches and Warlocks: <a href="http://i50.tinypic.com/2utkgp1.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i50.tinypic.com/2utkgp1.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> Where as the faeries are kind but mischievous and the dwarves neutral but prone to trade, witches and warlocks are outright vicious and cruel. Of course, not every witch looks so scary, witches and warlocks are just normal villagers who start misusing and then abusing their magic. As their misuse and abuse grows, like a festering wound, the magic starts to eat away at them and what made them human until they are finally nothing more than a husk. These shells are the witches and warlocks. Their spells are malicious and intended to cause harm and some of their spells may even kill your character. However, for a price, witches and warlocks will give you a spell either for yourself or for another. Witches and warlocks are the most powerful of the magical beings with nastiest of curses at their disposal. They attack without discretion, women, men, children, and even other witches and warlocks. Witches live a lonely life of solitude, slowly being consumed by the consequences brought on from magic abuse. Some witches and warlocks are even cannibals, using the flesh of their victims to provide them with restored youth. Whereas spells done by faeries wear-off with time or simple tasks, spells and curses cast by witches and warlocks are far more complicated. Witches and warlocks have become so embittered by their appearance that the means to break their curse often contends with kisses and love since they have forgotten what it is like to know love themselves.</td></tr></tbody></table>

<blockquote>۞ Witches and wizards can do the following magic on travelers:

<blockquote>۞ Turned into Stone: Witches are more inclined to curse first and ask questions later. A fact that wouldn't be AS bad if one of their curses wasn't turning you into stone thus making it impossible to answer. The spell can only be broken when the eyes of a serpent are crushed onto the statue itself.

۞ Animal Transformation Spell: While it is similar to the spell done by the faeries, witches and warlocks often choose animals they either intend to 1. Eat, 2. Use in a potion, or 3. No one will approach. These spells can be permanent and can only be broken with a kiss. While this may sound simple, most people aren't inclined to kiss toads or wolves.

۞ Sleeping Death: How the sleeping death is carried out varies, but the results are the same. An ageless sleep from which they shall never wake unless a kiss of love causes the curse to break.

۞ Curse of the Beasts: This spell differs from being turned into an animal because it does not change the without, but within. Those who were once kind are now as cruel as any old hag and violent too. It is broken when the sobs of a hurt child or a loved one reach the ears of the beast in hopes that the kind soul, now returned to their normal demeanor is even more horrified by the actions they did.

۞ Stolen Youth: Witches will cast a spell to turn you into an adult in both mind and body. Not necessarily a bad thing, but the longer you remain stuck as an adult, the faster you age until you reach your natural conclusion... death. The spell can be broken but only by a faerie to cast the spell of youth thus cancelling out one another.

۞ Spell of Misery: Are you happy, peppy, nice and joyful? The witches won't have any of that. The world is a bleak horrible place and your muse needs to realize that. Their world is a grey, dark, and miserable hole. Thankfully, this spell actually does wear off as the natural joy of people cannot be completely overcome and so after five days to a week the character will be back to their old chipper self.

۞ Twisted Speech Spell: Where as faeries only wish for the truth, witches don't care one way or another but they do enjoy the little bit of chaos that comes from miscommunication. So when a muse intends to tell the truth they will lie, when they intend to lie, they'll tell the truth. This spell is also thankfully only temporary and lasts anywhere from a day to a week.

۞ Twisted Senses Spells: Witches and Warlocks can cast a spell that removes or alters your vision, hearing, tastes, smell, and touch. Perhaps you can only see in shadows or only hear sobbing. Maybe every touch feels like knifes or all things smell like a rotten corpse. How it plays out isn't always the same for every person. The spell can only be broken by a master healer in the village.</blockquote></blockquote>

They're songs are so beautiful no one can resist the sound. Which suits the sirens just fine. Unlike faeries who are kind, dwarves who are neutral, and witches that are just malicious, sirens only want one thing from humans: their flesh. They aren't intentionally cruel it's just that they are one of the apex predators of the sea and humans are a large supply of meat. They do not mean to be malicious, they're simply hungry. When a mermaid is full or tired, she is harmless and just fond of song and sea. Sirens are also quite knowledgeable, travelers of the world as they are. The personalities of mermaids differ as much as any human, some are kind and curious, others vicious and cunning. Should you be able to capture a mermaid she is able to grant a single wish to her captor. Some captors have become so enamored with the captured sirens, they wished for them to become their human wives. So some of the inhabitants of Ever After are the descendants of mermaids and sirens. Little is known of the lives or mermaids, some claim to be from an underwater kingdom, others just nomads of the oceans. It's hard to tell what is true and what isn't.</td></tr>

In Forever After there are four different but important locations.

<tr><td> <center>❧ Ever After Village: <a href="http://i49.tinypic.com/10q9jsw.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i49.tinypic.com/10q9jsw.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> Ever After Village has all sorts of things to offer the citizens and now, its new travelers. The village has a multitude of shops and eateries, taverns for the adults, and the modest house and home to the more luxurious manors. There’s even a theater where plays are held. However, there are several important places in the village proper. The circumference of the village itself can be completely traversed in a day and a half. It’s area is roughly 20 square miles.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Rhapsody Castle: <a href="http://i50.tinypic.com/270g9.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i50.tinypic.com/270g9.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> With spires and turrets jutting up to pierce the heavens, Rhapsody Castle sits atop a small hill and overlooks the whole town. Within its walls, the fair Queen Rhapsody resides. The one room that is open to the public is the royal throne room where the towns people can seek audience with the queen once a month. Sometimes, the queen holds the grandest balls and masquerades in her ballrooms and halls. The rest of Rhapsody Castle cannot be entered without a summons from the queen.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Rosewood University: <a href="http://i49.tinypic.com/2licu0z.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i49.tinypic.com/2licu0z.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> The university is massive. In fact, it is the largest building in the village besides the castle. Children and scholars of all ages are educated in the halls of the university. From the tender age of 6 to 24 those who seek to expand their minds can be granted free room and board and three square meals a day should they choose to enroll. Run by Headmistress Siren, she ensures the finest education is offered to each and every student. Not only that, but Rosewood University houses the only public library and is truly extensive, even more vast than the library of the Queen. The Rosewood University is also where all travelers first arrive and are told of the situation.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Royal Court Market: <a href="http://i49.tinypic.com/oppnr.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i49.tinypic.com/oppnr.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> While there are many shops and little stores throughout the village, the most shops and wares are gathered in the markets. There are two markets in the kingdom. The Royal Court Market is the larger of the two. It is protected by the royal soldiers to ensure that no one is cheated, swindled, or unsavory actions occur. It has the highest quality products.. as well as the the highest prices. The Royal Court Market sales an array of items from food, clothing, jewelry, furniture, books, potions and ingredients, and even some smaller weapons.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Destiny Market: <a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/128102eb.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/128102eb.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> Destiny Market is the second largest market in Ever After. It is situated near the docks of Destiny Sea in the fisherman part of the town. Where Royal Court Market is more expensive but much more protected, Destiny Market sales its items at much cheaper prices but the risks of being scammed is also much higher. Just like the Royal Court Market, almost anything you might need can be found for sale. However, because the soldiers make far less frequent visits to Destiny Market, much darker items can be found and weapons of a much greater size can be attained (for much higher prices). Of course, there is plenty of honest business going on at Destiny Market. It is the only place to buy the freshest and most delicious seafood caught from the sea or you can even charter a boat for the day. Sometimes the Pirate Captain Venom and her crew are seen in Destiny Market with black market goods, however this is very rare.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Lady of Law Court/Cells/Dungeon: <a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/f075201a.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/f075201a.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> The place where the law is judged, weighed, and carried out in Ever After. The Lady of Law Court, cells, and dungeon are within a few minutes of one another. Here all crimes are judged. It is also here that the stocks are located for those who may end up in them. It is located nearest to the Black Rosewood Forest and the farmlands. Officer Kai is frequently seen around the court when he is not ensuring the safety of the town with the royal guard.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Ever After farms and orchards: <a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/914a7de5.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/914a7de5.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> Located next to the Dawn River (a freshwater stream that comes from the mountains) and through the clever use of irrigation and aqueducts the farmlands have some the widest array of vegetables, fruits, and nuts growing to provide for the whole of the village. The farmers provide their crops to both Royal Court and Destiny Market. There are some even some farms that specialize in meat and dairy.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Guild of Magic: <a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/db96effe.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/db96effe.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> The place where all magic users must get their permit and those who are willing, can learn magic. The Guild of Magic is run by the Mage of Mirrors but it is rare to see him as he is busy with advising the queen and helping the new arrivals. But, do not be disheartened, you can get your permit and lessons quite easily and even for free! The Guild is also the one who monitors the misuses of magic and reports such matters to the royal guard to be dealt with in the Lady of Law Courts. Located closer to the university and by Black Rosewood Forest, it is a large facility and where the mirrors given to travelers are created. More on learning magic can be found: here.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Lion’s Heart Arena: <a href="http://i48.tinypic.com/24z9obo.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i48.tinypic.com/24z9obo.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> The arena is where the royal army and anyone who would like to test or sharpen their skills can train. You must provide your own weapons, however a healer is always on hand. Sometimes the arena holds competitions for the public with big prizes for the winner. General Kamau is known to frequent the arena always looking to recruit new soldiers for the army. It is in-between the castle and farmlands.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Siren Song Inn: <a href="http://i46.tinypic.com/2ceidj.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i46.tinypic.com/2ceidj.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> After everything is explained at the Rosewood University and you obtain your mirror, the Siren Song Inn owner has been kind enough to open the doors to the inn to all the travelers. There you will have a bed for the month with the money provided to you. Once the month is through, the Siren Song owner is actually going to be the first to offer you a job at the inn. You’ll get to keep the room you’ve been living in and your morning meals will be free whereas before you had to pay for all your meals when staying just as a guest. It isn’t very big which is why travelers must share rooms. The Siren Song is closet to the Festival Plaza.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ The Festival Plaza: <a href="http://i46.tinypic.com/23hro7o.png"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i46.tinypic.com/23hro7o.png" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> The Festival Plaza is located in the exact center of the town. A giant mermaid fountain sits in the center. Small fairs and shows and of course, festivals take place in the Festival Plaza. The Festival Plaza is also where all important announcements are made from the Royal Herald. The Royal Bell is rung and can be heard from throughout the village. These announcements will also be made on the mirrors.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>❧ Black Rosewood Forest: <a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/65298faa.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/65298faa.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> Black Rosewood Forest gains it name from being made up of primarily Rosewood trees. The Black Rosewood Forest is especially noted for, you guessed it, Rosewood trees with black bark on the outside. The forest is where most of the Ever After Village obtains its lumber and wild game. It is immense. On foot it takes two weeks to travel along the known paths and even reaches into the Mountains of the Dawn. On the other side is the Kingdom of Dark Thorn and the kingdom of Queen Kerra. The forest closest to the village has been thinned out and made a little safer. It offers meadows and glens and little streams that are perfectly safe for anyone and everyone. Within, the forest has a bevy of wildlife ranging from your standard animal to those of much more magical attributes. More information on the wildlife of Ever After can be found: here. However, should you travel for more than a day into the forest, there is something very important to remember. Black Rosewood Forest is dangerous, deadly, and not a place to go alone or unarmed. There are deadly beasts within the woods, and if the beasts don’t get you, the magical beings will. More can be found on the mythical beings: here.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Fae Lake: <a href="http://i45.tinypic.com/2m5auzp.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i45.tinypic.com/2m5auzp.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> Fae Lake is fed by a large river from the mountains. Beautiful, serene, and housing an array of fish, it is actually quite close to the village, little less than half a day’s walk to get there. Some of the villagers have even made a home near it. Within it’s waters are the magical fish able to grant wishes. Catching one of these fish, however, is rare. The lake is named such because somewhere around the lake is the entrance to the Faerie Kingdom. While faeries and their wingless counterparts elves can be found anywhere in the forest, they are frequent around Fae Lake and are guardians quick to either help or play little tricks on anyone they please. So long as those who visit the lake do no harm to the nature around them, no harm shall come to them.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Hag’s Knob: <a href="http://i49.tinypic.com/16a9oc8.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i49.tinypic.com/16a9oc8.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> Witches and warlocks are everywhere in the forest. However, Hag’s Knob is where someone can go if they wish to make a deal with one. A twisted and gnarled tree more dead than alive with branches bent and cracked like broken bones, it sits atop a hill of dead grass. In a circle around the hill is burnt and scarred earth, barren and black. Only crows and vultures are brave enough to rest upon the branches of Hag’s Knob. No one can say the exact location of the tree, only that it is a two day’s travel into the woods.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ Abandoned Cottages: <a href="http://i50.tinypic.com/34rveas.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i50.tinypic.com/34rveas.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> Throughout the forest there are abandoned cottages. There are some cottages from those who had tried to live in the forest and then returned to the village for whatever their reason. These cottages are closer to the town but may be a day or half a day’s walk. And then there are cottages from those exiled from the village and having met an untimely fate. Those cottages are much further into the woods. Do not be deceived, not all cottages are truly abandoned, some are the homes of witches and warlocks luring you in and letting you meet an even worse fate.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>❧ Mountains of the Dawn: <a href="http://i49.tinypic.com/2qlcqxv.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i49.tinypic.com/2qlcqxv.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> The Mountains of the Dawn are the natural northern and eastern borders of the kingdom. There are few mountain passages safe enough for travel and what passages there are, are heavily guarded by the royal army. The extent of the mountain range isn’t properly known. However, it does house two very important residents of Ever After. One group of residents who lives among the high peaks are the dragons. The second, who live within the mountains, are the dwarves.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>۞ The Mine: <a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/b37baff7.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/b37baff7.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> Simply called “The Mine” it is where the dwarves of the mountains live. It has never been found by anyone and those who have been brought to it are quick to forget it’s location or get lost in trying to find it again. It houses the richest amount of jewels and minerals in the entire kingdom and the dwarves know this. If you happen upon a dwarf and convince him to sell to you for the right price (as some sellers in the Royal Court Market have) then you will gain access to the highest quality metals, jewels, and if a dwarf truly likes you, weaponry. However, many have lost their lives trying to find the mine, never to be seen or heard from again.</td></tr>

<tr><td> <center>❧ Destiny Sea: <a href="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/646d58de.jpg"><img width="200" height="200" src="http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t457/foreveraftermods/646d58de.jpg" alt="" /></a></center></td><td> Destiny Sea is vast and expansive with a horizon that goes on for days. It is where most of the wares and travelers native to the world come through since the mountains are less reliable. Only a mile or so offshore underneath deep in its depths is also where the Lily of the Fate, the flower able to revive the dead, can be found.</td></tr>

It is the home of the massive sea beast. Not much is known about the serpent’s den as no proper research can be done, but those who brave to get the lily are sure to see the deep cave that seems to have even colder water from within its depths.</td></tr></tbody></table>

Things made sense, or at least you could handle what had been thrown at you in your own world. As you closed your eyes to rest your head nothing seemed odd, nothing could possibly prepare you for what was about to happen. As you dreamt all you could remember was the laughter of a woman. It ran down your spine to grip your heart and squeeze. When you had awoken, you could tell right away something was... off. Something had happened you couldn't explain and that was out of your control. It was not your bed, it was not your home. 
 
 You awaken and find yourself in a different world where you are greeted by a gently smiling old man. His first words are, </big>

 <big>Safe? Yes, fortunately for you, you have been saved by our gracious and kind ruler, Queen Rhapsody, from being kidnapped and turned into a slave for the vile and vicious Queen Kerra. You were brought here to this world, to the grand Kingdom Ever After. Do not fear, traveler, she cannot reach you. And until you can be returned home, there is much to do in the kingdom.
 
 However, rumors are abound in the kingdom. There’s talk of war between the kingdoms and something else. There are dark creatures in the woods that may be much closer than you think.

Fires spells are very powerful, very dangerous, and all spells are offensive in nature. However, it requires a sharp mind and concentration, for fire will burn even the one who cast the spell. Without focus and control, things can get out of hand very quickly. Those who are chosen by fire will find results very quickly with the magic so long as they maintain control and focus which yields quick understanding. Fire is the second hardest element to wield and control.</blockquote></td></tr>

Earth is the easiest element to learn the basics but takes the longest to master. It is almost all defensive magic with very few offensive spells. Earth allows the most error and loss of control for beginners without consequences like fire. However, the highest level mastery takes the longest amount of time of all the elements and the requires the most practice. Those who reach mastery in the kingdom are known to be the most serene in nature with patience to spare from the training that comes from learning this element. Earth is the easiest of the four elements to control.</blockquote></td></tr>

It has the most diversity in its spells in both offensive and defensive. Unlike fire, it does not require strict and constant control. Rather, the mind of those chosen by water must become fluid and flowing like a river itself. Water requires the ability to be calm but open to change. Standing water holds no power, it is the water that moves that has strength. Water is initially easy to learn and quick too if the one chosen is easy to adjust to change. Basic spells are difficult to learn, however, once those are mastered, the other spells will come quickly to the wielder. Those chosen by water will learn to control the tiniest bead of dew to the waves of Destiny Sea itself. Water is the second easiest element to control and wield.</blockquote></td></tr>

It is, however, the most difficult to learn and master. Where as the other three elements require strict to lax control and concentration, wind requires intensive focus with the quickest willingness to change in an instant for any results to be yielded. Those chosen by wind must be able to be gentle and then harsh at the quickest breath of change. Basic spells are extremely difficult to learn and become even harder upon mastery levels. Wind is the only element that will not always follow the will of the caster and may hurt everyone or no one at all. Wind is the hardest element to control.</blockquote></td></tr>

It may actually be healing that chooses the character. Healing is the most nurturing and giving of all the forms of magic that can be learned. It is also the easiest because the magic itself is so unique. Healing magic only chooses those who are already innately generous in spirit. What that means is not entirely known as some of the outwardly cruelest people have been picked by healing magic. However, that is the nature of magic, not truly explainable or understood. Those chosen to be healers will find that, as time goes on, they will become empathic, not just with humans but with animals. Healing magic is easy to learn and even easier to master as the spells do not ever change merely the amount of energy and control changes.</blockquote></td></tr></tbody></table>

۞ The Inn: is run by (man) and his wife, (name) who have graciously opened up their establishment to accommodate the travelers brought to Ever After.

The bottom floor serves as a both a tavern and an eatery not just for overnight patrons but also for those off the street. Right next to the eatery is the kitchen, run by the innkeeper's wife who will not put up with any thefting from her large pantry. A set of stairs leads down to the cellar from a hatch in the floor.</td></tr>

This is the floor where it's the easiest to look down on the patrons who might be having a meal or drink below.
